Air New Zealand is the national airline and flag carrier of New Zealand. Headquartered in Auckland, the airline operates scheduled passenger flights to 22 domestic and 29 international destinations in 19 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania.

The Brief

Air New Zealand has 3,800 employees worldwide that needed access to an approved and brand appropriate range of customised merchandise that appealed to a wide variety of needs across the business. They wanted to save costs, have visibility of spend trends and stock inventory across the business, backed up by real time reporting anytime, 24 x 7. Merchandise needed to be readily available so that it could be quickly delivered overnight to NZ locations, or within 7 days to offshore locations. Coupled with quick turnarounds and stock management on a large scale, a full inventory management solution was integral to successfully delivering its global merchandise supply chain needs.

Our Solution

We were consulted and tested a variety of products with Air New Zealand to develop the core range of merchandise and branding techniques that most suited the product or garment. In conjunction with this, a custom designed online ordering system was tailor built to meet the specific needs of Air New Zealand. The solution manages large volumes of pre-branded inventory, across multiple product lines to deliver orders fast and efficiently to Air New Zealand’s personnel both nationally and worldwide.
